Zu Beginn möchte ich Sie auf eine kleine Reise mitnehmen, die uns durch den Lebenszyklus eines Weinfasses führt.
Am Beginn eines Weinfasses steht ein stattlicher Baum, der nun für einen ganz besonderen Reifeprozess Verwendung findet.
Vorzugsweise Eiche aber auch Akazie, Robinie und Kastanie wurden und werden verwendet.
Die Herstellung der Holzfässer hat nach wie vor eine große traditionelle Bedeutung.
Ein Holzfass wird vom Fassbinder hergestellt, und ist weitgehend handgefertigt.
Solche Fässer bestehen im Wesentlichen aus Dauben, Boden und Deckel.
Mit sehr viel Sorgfalt und Handwerkskunst entsteht so aus diesen Bestandteilen ein Weinfass.
Nun kommt der Winzer hinzu, der dieses Fass mit seinem edlen Wein befüllt.
Hierbei entsteht eine Symbiose, das Fass gibt seine unverwechselbaren Stoffe an den Wein ab und im Gegenzug färbt der Wein das Fass.
Dank des Holzfasses entstanden so in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten Weine mit unverwechselbarem Geschmack und Individualität.
Aber der Wein färbt nicht nur das Holz, er gibt ihm auch unverwechselbare Züge.
So entstand Jahr für Jahr eine Patina, die jedes Fass einzigartig werden ließ.
hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, diese Einzigartigkeit der alten Fässer in Form von kunsthandwerklichen Designerstücken, in welchen sich die hohe Handwerkskunst des Fassbinders und die Leidenschaft des Winzers vereinen, zu erhalten.
Mit Liebe zum Detail und kreativen Ideen entstehen so aus diesen alten einzigartigen Fässern in Verbindung mit Naturstein und modernen Elementen neue Kunstwerke.
Ein Kunstwerk von uns birgt Tradition und Moderne in sich, es bringt seinen Betrachter zum Staunen und Nachdenken, ob seiner Geschichte die es in sich trägt.
Jedes dieser Kunstwerke ist ein handwerkliches Unikat!

I will take you on a little trip through the lifetime cycle of a wine barrel.
At the beginning there is a big tree which is used for a special repening process.
For especially oak, acacia, robinia and chestnut were used for this process.
Nowadays the making of barrels has also a traditional relevance.
A barrel is made by hand by the barrel maker. The barrels are made of many barrel staves, the top and the bottom and rings of iron hold it together. In the past rings were made from wood. At the 17th century it changed to iron.
The next step has been taken by the vintner, who filled the barrel with his noble wine.Then it comes to a symbiosis between the wine and the barrel.
The barrel gives his unique substances to the wine and in contrary the wine colours the barrel. Owing to the wine barrel there are developing delicious wines with a unique taste and individuality over the years.
Year over year a patina grown up which made every kind of barrel unique.
made it to its task to preserve unique old barrels in therms of artfully designs, were the highest hand made art from the barrelmaker and the passion from the vintner comes together.
With love for detail and creative ideas I combine the old barrels with natur stone and modern elements to new artworks.
These artworks contain tradition and modernity, the viewer will be amazed about the history it entails.
